Who this covers
This policy explains how Web Brewers Tech handles personal information collected through webbrewerstech.com and in the course of building and maintaining websites for clients.
It doesn't cover the websites we build for our clients. Each business is responsible for its own site's privacy practices and for providing its own privacy policy.
What we collect

We don't collect Social Security numbers, bank logins, or full card numbers, and we don't ask for sensitive personal information. Please don't send it to us.

- Understand which of our pages people find useful
We don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to, and we don't add you to a list because you sent us a question.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies and analytics
We use Netlify's built-in analytics, which count visits on the server without setting tracking cookies or following you to other websites. We don't run advertising pixels or sell audience data.
Your browser can block or clear cookies at any time. Our site still works if you do.
Files you upload
Files you send are stored in our Dropbox and used only to build and maintain your website. We keep a copy while you're a client so we can make changes quickly.
Ask us to delete your files at any time and we will, except anything we need to keep for tax or legal records.
How long we keep things
- Project files and site content: while you're a client, and for 12 months after your last project in case you come back.
- Emails and messages: up to 3 years.
- Invoices and payment records: 7 years, which is standard for tax records.
- Visit data: up to 26 months.
How we protect it
Our site and forms use encrypted connections, payment details go straight to Stripe, and account access is limited to the two of us with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your information, we'll tell you promptly and explain what happened.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we have about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email hello@webbrewerstech.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Some information has to stay, such as invoices needed for taxes. If we can't delete something, we'll tell you why.
Kids
Our site isn't intended for anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your own website's visitors
If the site we build collects information, such as a contact form or online booking, you're responsible for telling your visitors how you handle it. You provide your own privacy policy, and we'll put it on the site.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our tools change. The date at the top shows the current version, and meaningful changes will be noted there.
